Piggy′s Revenge Endurance Challenge
A challenging endurance race/ride consisting of 10,20,40,60+ miles of off-road goodness in Sarasota County Florida. Get ready for a self supported single track,gravel, dirt, sand and water ride.This year we will also have a Pigglet Ride: 10 miles of great double track riding perfect for beginners.The 20 and 40 options will have single track riding more suitable for mountain bikes,the 60 miler is a gravel grinder and includes some road riding. The 26th Annual Tour de Cape
The 26th Annual Tour De Cape presented by the City of Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Department offers a 5K run on Sat. Jan. 21, and on Sun. Jan. 22 there are four cycling courses that travel through the City of Cape Coral, one of the largest cities in the state. The Tour De Cape offers a 15mi., 30mi, 60mi and 100mi. course. All courses are manned with support teams and rest stations throughout. This is a great family event. Get more details at www.tourdecape.net

Velosport Events is benefiting De Nito Ride for Kids to bring you Tour de Coast 50K and 100K. Both routes are fully supported with SAG vehicles, police escort and well stocked rest-stops! Tour de Coast Jersey Tour de Coast Snapback Hat Bike Tech cycling hat Packet Pick Up Information (TBA) Refund and Transfer Information Velosport Events (VE) has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A refund requested prior to race week will be given a VE race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one VE racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. All VE events are held Rain or Shine. Weather Cancellation Policies Velosport Events (VE) safety is the most important thing and if any of the threatening weather conditions are present the day of the event (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain or a hurricane decides to visit), the event may be delayed or canceled. When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, such conditions fall under the label “acts of mother nature,” it will not result in refunding of any race entry fees or future event credits, since funds were already spent in preparation for your race day. Race for FREE Information Our race for FREE Incentive Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $60 VE Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 6 hours. We ask volunteers to email us at info@velosportevents.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Battle of Olustee
A tradition started in 1984 by Gainesville legend John Harlan and evolved into signifying the start of the Florida racing season. The Battle of Olustee will muster troops at 9:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn corner of 441 and University avenue (see the Facebook page for parking instructions). It will head north on 441 then north (right) on 121 at the Highway Patrol Station. Ride length 110 miles with one brief food stop at about 45 miles. Expect substantial acceleration with 40 hilly miles to go. Print the map from the link on the Facebook page if you wish to complete the last 40 miles as a tour.
