Gears & Beers: Bayou 100
Gears & Beers: Bayou 100 benefits the Delta Bike Project, a 501c3 community bike shop in Mobile that works to enhance the cycling experience by empowering people with the knowledge of basic bicycle maintenance through their guided, do-it-yourself model of teaching repair skills and community programming. In the last three years, the DBP has provided over 500 bikes to the community, many of which have been earned by people with little to no income, as well as at-risk elementary school children through their Time is Money and Read to Ride programs. The founders of the Delta Bike Project embody a strong sense of place on the Gulf Coast, and participating riders will share that sense as they begin their ride in historic downtown Mobile where large majestic oak trees dripping with Spanish Moss line the streets. G&B is #13 in the Alabama Backroads Century Series supporting distances of 10,30,63,101 miles.

The SMART Ride 2016
Each November, we ride from Miami to Key West, 165 miles in two days, to raise money for HIV/AIDS service organizations across Florida. What makes us unique is our promise that 100% of every dollar raised by participants is given back to those agencies. We have become the second largest AIDS bicycle ride in the country, and the only one of its size to return 100% of the funds raised. We have kept that promise, and we have returned over $7.4 million since 2003.

Freedom Ride Florida
Freedom Ride 2016 is the third annual organized bike ride in Hardee County Fl. Our county has hundreds of miles of quiet paved roads for the cycling enthusiast and we believe this ride will demonstrate that. More importantly, Freedom Ride 2016 is also the annual fundraiser for Pioneer Village, a family restoration ministry that works with the families of addicts to restore what destructive lifestyles has stolen. Pioneer Village takes no government money, doesn’t charge for it’s services, and has no paid staff. 100% of our working capital comes from the generous donations of people and businesses that believe in what we do and 100% of the donations go to accomplish the mission of family restoration.
