20th Annual Highlands Bike Fest
Designed by cyclists for cyclists! Enjoy one, two, or preferably three days of cycling in the gently rolling hills of Highlands County, excellent buffet lunch meals by Chef Mac, ice cream socials, door prizes, vendors, etc... Cyclists will especially appreciate our lightly traveled back roads, typically friendly motorists, citrus groves, cattle ranches, and small towns typical of rural Central Florida. Fully supported routes with cue sheets and maps, on-road route marking, rest stops, and dispatched SAG service vehicles. Daily rides ranging from 10 to 62 miles plus on Saturday our "Highlands County Century" (100 miles). A massage therapist will be available after the rides for a nominal fee. Things to do while you are in Sebring include: socializing with new and old friends, golfing, shopping, visiting our two bicycle shops, The Bike Shop and Legacy Bicycle Shop, Henscratch Vineyard and Winery, Highlands Hammock State Park, also don′t miss our Carousel of Lights on the circle in downtown Sebring. Event host: Highlands Pedalers Bike Club. Registration and packet pick-up as well as where the rides will start and end from is The Sebring Civic Center. Early Registration Deadline: November 23. T-shirts will be ordered only for riders PAID UP BY THE DEADLINE. No refunds after this deadline.

The 2017 Ride. Run. Roll to Defeat ALS is a one-day cycling event designed to appeal to every level of rider and 5k runners too. We offer the Metric Century (approx. 62 miles), a 25 Mile route, a 10 Mile route, and a 5K Run/Walk. Routes include sections of the Pinellas Trail, Fort De Soto and coastal roads. Test your strength. Push your limits. FIGHT ALS. Grab your friends and join us for this opportunity to be a part of Team Challenge ALS as we challenge ALS at the highest level.

The KID Fitness Challenge
Bahia Mar Hotel Marina Seabreeze Blvd. Get in gear for a one day fitness challenge - choose from 3 distances: Metric Century (100 kilometers/62 miles), Half-Metric Century (50 kilometers/31 miles), or Beach Cruiser (15 miles). The ride is fully-supported with rest stops, SAG vehicles and repair services. Spin-Cycle Challenge a 3 hour spinning event at the Bahia Mar Marina where individuals or teams spin to support KID children and families. CELEBRATE! Upon completion of your challenge, you and your family are invited to our holiday-themed festival celebrating the KID Fitness Challenge. The festival will include: bounce houses, carnival games, concessions, ornament decorating, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and so much more.

Secret Santa Open House & Cycling Weekend-Road and off road riding
The Suwannee Bicycle Association invites you to a memorable weekend of pre-holiday cycling activities and festivities at the Secret Santa Open House. Both on-road and off-road rides will be conducted each day. Secret Santa Open House is scheduled to coincide with White Springs Festival of Lights and the Christmas Parade. Saturday evening share in a great potluck dinner and participate in the Secret Santa gift exchange.

Enjoy one, two or preferably three days of cycling in the gently rolling hills of Highlands County, excellent Buffet Lunch Meals by Chef Mac, Ice Cream Socials, Door Prizes, Vendors, etc. Cyclists will especially appreciate our lightly traveled back roads, typically friendly motorists, citrus groves, cattle ranches, and small towns typical of rural Central Florida. Fully supported routes with Cue Sheets & Maps, On-Road Route Marking, Rest Stops, and dispatched SAG service vehicles. Daily rides ranging from 10 to 62 miles plus on Saturday our “Highlands County Century” (100 miles). Bicycle helmets are required, of course. A massage therapist will be available after the rides for a nominal fee. MEALS: Registrants will enjoy a daily expanded continental breakfast including scrambled eggs & home fries, cereals, yogurts, fruit and a deluxe buffet lunch that includes salad, carving, buffet, and desert stations. For example main entrees on Saturday 2015 was: Carved Prime Rib with Aujus, Chicken Basquaise, and Grilled Salmon. Also Shrimp Cocktail is a favorite tradition on our last day. Other Things to Do include: Socializing with new & old friends, golfing, shopping, or a visit to Legacy Bicycle Shop, Henscratch Vineyard & Winery and/or Hammock State Park. Event Co-Hosts: Highlands Pedalers bike club & the historic Kenilworth Lodge where all rides, registration & packet pick up originate. Early Registration Deadline: November 30. Get your wheels in motion and join us for our 6th annual bicycle event as we ride through some of the most picturesque and scenic terrain in Parrish, FL. CF Cycle for Life is a fully-supported ride with route options of 32 and 65 miles. From breakfast to our cycle post party, you can enjoy fully stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, bike mechanics for bicycle maintenance and repair, ride marshals to cheer you along the way and plenty of support vehicles to help you complete the ride. This unique event empowers participants to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis in a tangible, emotional and powerful way.

Matthew Beard Memorial Ride to the Sea
Ride begins at the Wakulla Station Trail Head on the St. Marks Trail On DEC 10th, 2016 at 10am. The ride is FREE and is intended to allow all levels of cyclists to ride to show their support of victims and survivors of DUI drivers. No pre-registration needed. Riders will have support along the way, including snacks and drinks. The ride follows the St. Marks Bike Trail to the St. Marks River Park in St. Marks, Florida. Here is where the river feeds into the Apalachicola Bay at the Gulf of Mexico -- a beautiful area in a little sea oriented town. At the park, riders will be able to make a dedication to a loved one, and sign a pledge to be a designated driver and not drink and drive. The total out and back ride distance is 14 miles. The ride is organized by the Florida State University Police Department. Email Major Jim Russell for more information at . Helmets required - safety first!
