18th Annual "Highlands Bike Fest"
Designed by cyclists for cyclists! Enjoy one, two or preferably three days of cycling in the gently rolling hills of Highlands County, excellent Buffet Lunch Meals by Chef Mac, Ice Cream Socials, Door Prizes, Vendors, etc. Cyclists will especially appreciate our lightly traveled back roads, typically friendly motorists, citrus groves, cattle ranches, and small towns typical of rural Central Florida. Fully supported routes with Cue Sheets & Maps, On-Road Route Marking, Rest Stops, and dispatched SAG service vehicles. Daily rides ranging from 10 to 62 miles plus on Saturday our “Highlands County Century” (100 miles). Bicycle helmets are required, of course. A massage therapist will be available after the rides for a nominal fee. MEALS: Registrants will enjoy a daily expanded continental breakfast including scrambled eggs & home fries, cereals, yogurts, fruit and a deluxe buffet lunch that includes salad, carving, buffet, and desert stations. For example main entrees on Saturday 2014 included: Carved Turkey Breast with Cranberry Sauce & Corn Bread Stuffing, Tilapia Veracruz, Chicken Marsala, Green Beans & Mushrooms. Other Things to Do include: The pub, socializing with new & old friends, swimming, parlor games, golfing, shopping, or a visit to Legacy Bicycle Shop, Henscratch Vineyard & Winery and/or Hammock State Park. Event Co-Hosts: Highlands Pedalers bike club & the historic Kenilworth Lodge where all rides, registration & packet pick up originate. Early Registration Deadline: November 24. T-shirts will be ordered only for riders PAID UP BY DEADLINE. No refunds after this deadline.

Secret Santa Open House & Cycling Weekend-Road and off road riding
The Suwannee Bicycle Association invites you to a memorable weekend of pre-holiday cycling activities and festivities at the Secret Santa Open House. Both on-road and off-road rides will be conducted each day. Secret Santa Open House is scheduled to coincide with White Springs Festival of Lights and the Christmas Parade. Saturday evening share in a great potluck dinner and participate in the Secret Santa gift exchange.

S.E.A.′s 4th Annual Rail to Trail Festival Ride with St. Johns Velo and VeloFest
We are SEA Community, our mission is to help others cross over the sea of sub-standard housing, homelessness, hunger,etc., by meeting the needs of the families and individuals in the Spuds, Elkton, and Armstrong communities! Please join us for our 4th Annual Rails to Trails Festival. We invite you to come and learn more about the SEA(Spuds, Elkton, Armstrong) community and take advantage of the beautiful trail that runs through our area. This year St. Johns Velo, the Velo Fest Community Initiative Bicycle Club, will be leading up rides of various distances starting at 9:00am. Ride distances will be 30 or 60 miles(trail and road,) with a slow ride option of 12 miles or less(all trail.) The ride will be supported with SAG and rest stops every 10-15 miles. The 14th annual KID Inlet Challenge Bicycle Ride
The KID Inlet Challenge is a one-day, at-your-own-pace fun ride on beautiful A1A that culminates in a fun holiday celebration on the KID campus with 300+ children and families cheering our riders on celebrating together. Riders choose from 3 distances: Metric Century(62 miles), Half Metric Century(31 miles)and a family ride(15 miles). The ride is well supported with fully stocked rest stops. SAG and repair services to help riders successfully complete the route. All riders will receive a commemorative t-shirt, medal and unforgettable memories and new friends. The difference you′ll make in the life′s of our children is priceless.

Tour of Boca
Come join the fun with the 2014-2015 Tour of Boca rides, sponsored by the Boca Raton Bike Club and the City of Boca Raton. It′s a family affair and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The Ride begins at Patch Reef Park (Yamato near Military) at 1:00 pm. Enjoy a 15 mile, easy-paced (9-10 mph), police escorted bicycle ride. Registration: 12:30 pm; Ride starts: 1:00 pm; Registration fee $2.00. There is a rest stop for refreshments midway through the ride at mile 9 at Rutherford Park for beverages and snacks sponsored by Performance Bike. Promote safe cycling while spending a pleasant afternoon with family and friends. Children must be at least 10 years old and must be accompanied by an adult if under 14. No baby seats. All riders are required to wear a helmet. A SAG (support and gear) vehicle will follow the group to assist with any problems.
