SBA Spring Pedal ′n′ Paddle Festival with Century
Come ride the roads, the trails, walk the Florida trail or paddle down the Suwannee River with friends and members of the SBA. Event runs from May 2-5, 2019. Enjoy the beautiful back roads around White Springs or the 50+ miles of off road trails. On Saturday ride a full/metric century with rest stops at Stephen Foster CC State Park or local stores. Event starts Thursday with a non-supported ride. Thursday evening join all participants for a pot luck at SBA Headquarters. Pick up your registration packet beginning Thursday at 1 PM at SBA Headquarters. Registration will open at 8am on Friday and Sunday and 7am on Saturday. Breakfast will be served each morning. Friday events begin with at 9AM with a 40+ mile road ride around White Springs. Social events include a Wine and Cheese Meet and Greet on Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 PM. Saturday join the Pedal & Paddle group, ride full/metric century or tour the beautiful area of White Springs. Saturday night enjoy the Chocolate Deserts. Registration includes shared Camp Site for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night only. Registration fee is based on shared camp site. Each participant must make their own reservations at Stephen Foster State Park prior to Thursday evening. If you plan to arrive prior to Thursday evening, please notify campsite coordinator and every effort will be made to place guest on same site. Cabins are available on first come basis. Bike MS: The Citrus Tour is a 2-day ride that will take you farther than you′ve ever gone before. What makes this ride so special? Bike MS: The Citrus Tour takes you through the citrus groves of Old Florida. Hundreds of cyclists will experience the excitement of riding from Fantasy of Flight in Polk City to the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. On Saturday, there will be 50, 75 and 100 mile route options. On Sunday, there will be 20, 50 and 75 mile route options. You′ll also enjoy finish line festivities each day, including music, food and more. Saturday night features a cocktail hour and celebration dinner banquet. To make your ride a safe and memorable one, Bike MS is fully supported with Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles, bike mechanics and rest stops.

American Cancer Society 2018 Florida Hope Ride
The Florida Hope Ride is an annual bicycle event organized by local cyclists to raise funds to help Hope Lodges nationwide continue to provide free accommodations for the more than 44,000 cancer patients and caregivers who find peace and love in their communities. There are three cities you can participate in: Tampa, Gainesville and Jacksonville. Join us in raising funds and hope while having fun on bikes.

Ride the Blue Ridge
We′re going to cycle the length of the nation?s longest linear park, the Blue Ridge Parkway to raise money for brain cancer research. The ride is challenging but leisurely with hotels every night, plenty of good food, and lots of support. Participants commit to fundraising $2800 which includes 8 nights lodging, all meals and SAG support. Because many of the costs are covered by donations and volunteers, most of the money raised goes to brain cancer research.

Ride Rock and Roll
The Ride Rock and Roll is a music themed cycling event that starts and finishes at the Route 46 Entertainment District in Sanford, FL. With an escorted, rolling peloton on the Metric Century route (70 miles), the cyclists will stop at rest stops playing rock and roll music that takes you back to your younger days. Upon returning to Route 46 Entertainment District, you′ll listen to live music on the stage while relaxing with your old and new friends and enjoy your post-ride food from the Smokehouse at Route 46.

Cheaha Challenge & ULTRA
No. 4 in the Alabama Backroads Century Series/ www.alabama-backroads-cycling.com The 2018 CHEAHA CHALLENGE CENTURY is the only USA qualifier for UCI Gran Fondo World Championship! The toughest ride in the south is truly THE toughest ride in the south. The Challenge course will stay basically the same as the 2015 course, except we will take the ride to the Top of Alabama into Cheaha State Park and to the Tower, which marks the highest point in Alabama. Cheaha Challenge ULTRA: The option to do the ULTRA is for experienced riders only. This 124 mile (200K) route encompasses all the major climbs in our area, and has an elevation gain of 11,733 feet. Other supported distances are 24,44,62,84,100,124 miles.
