SBA Spring Pedal ′n′ Paddle Festival with Century
Come ride the roads, the trails, walk the Florida trail or paddle down the Suwannee River with friends and members of the SBA. Event runs from May 3-6, 2018. Enjoy the beautiful back roads around White Springs or the 50+ miles of off road trails. On Saturday ride a full/metric century with rest stops at Stephen Foster CC State Park or local stores. Event starts Thursday with a non-supported ride. Thursday evening join all participants for a pot luck at SBA Headquarters. Pick up your registration packet beginning Thursday at 1 PM at SBA Headquarters. Registration will open at 8am on Friday and Sunday and 7am on Saturday. Breakfast will be served each morning. Friday events begin with at 9AM with a 40+ mile road ride around White Springs. Social events include a Wine and Cheese Meet and Greet on Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 PM. Saturday join the Pedal & Paddle group, ride full/metric century or tour the beautiful area of White Springs. Saturday night enjoy the Chocolate Deserts. Registration includes Camp Site for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night only. Registration fee is based on shared camp site. Each participant must make their own reservations at Stephen Foster State Park prior to Thursday evening. If you plan to arrive prior to Thursday evening, please notify campsite coordinator and every effort will be made to place guest on same site. Cabins are available on first come basis. Come join us for this tour of Limestone County and the surrounding areas, with some of the best cycling in the Southeast! Pick from 3 different distances: 31, ~64 and ~100 miles. Each course will be challenging but manageable! Low traffic! It’s an exceptionally beautiful course that will challenge you early in the season. The ride benefits the counseling program of the Family Services Center, Inc. . The counseling program’s goal is to offer affordable, professional mental health services for those least able to pay. Hillsborough County Sheriff′s Office Fallen Heroes Memorial Ride
This event is a 25 or 50 mile (rider choice) charity bike ride to raise funds for HCSO Charities, Inc. and the HCSO History Center. The ride begins at McDonald Elementary School at 7:00 A.M. and goes through some rural areas of Hillsborough County. We will have a fully marked route with SAG support and a rest stop. Each registration receives a t-shirt and goodie bag. Register before 03/22/2017 to take advantage of our $99 registration and custom jersey deal!

Orlando Tour to Inspire with Hector Picard
22/18/11/6 miles. Make plans to "Bike and BBQ" with Hector Picard, the 1st Double Arm Amputee 5x Ironman Finisher. We will meet at Lake Mills Park, Chuluota at 8:30 a.m. for a 22 mile ride with Hector, (or one of several shorter routes.) Hector is riding in 31 cities in 31 days for bike month. Ride is flat and on paved rural roads with farms and wildlife. The longer 2 routes will have a water and rest stop at Fort Christmas Historical Park. After the ride, we will gather back up at Lake Mills Park. After Hector shares his inspirational story with the group, we′ll have a picnic. This will be a social ride and the routes for pace groups will be posted before the ride. So just why will Hector Picard inspire you? We′ll have four routes and speeds: Ride with Hector to Fort Christmas full route about 22 miles at a 16-18 mph average pace. (Orange) A Fort Christmas and return route, about 18 miles at 14-15 mph pace. (Yellow) A "weekend warrior" 11 mile distance at about 12-13 mph pace. (Blue) Zippy′s Around Lake Mills route of about 6 miles around Lake Mills at a pace of about 8-10 miles per hour (Green). Please arrive at 8:30 - 8:45 a.m. to check in so that ride groups are ready to depart at 9:00 a.m.

Cheaha Challenge & ULTRA
No. 5 in the Alabama Backroads Century Series/ www.alabama-backroads-cycling.com The 2017 CHEAHA CHALLENGE CENTURY is the qualifier for UCI Gran Fondo World Championship! The toughest ride in the south is truly THE toughest ride in the south. The Challenge course will stay basically the same as the 2015 course, except we will take the ride to the Top of Alabama into Cheaha State Park and to the Tower, which marks the highest point in Alabama. Cheaha Challenge ULTRA: The option to do the ULTRA is for experienced riders only. This 124 mile (200K) route encompasses all the major climbs in our area, and has an elevation gain of 11,733 feet. Other supported distances are 24,44,62,84,100,124 miles.
